Brief overview

VOLUNTEER IN HIGH SCHOOLS

About this opportunity

High School can be a tough time for teens, especially those with a disability.

We are developing a new program using youth engagement to break down the stigmas around disability & bring positive change to high school communities around Sydney.

Volunteers will be matched to a school in the area/suburb where they live and meet regularly with the group. We are currently actively seeking volunteers for the Sydney area, particularly the Inner West, South West, South East and North West areas. Volunteers should be skilled in oral communication, well presented and have good organisation skills.

Flexible availability over 2 or 3 days each week is ideal. Some previous experience engaging with young people would be well regarded. Training and support provided.
