Brief overview

DISABILITY AWARENESS PRESENTER (Just Like You!)

About this opportunity

Just Like You! is a disability awareness program for primary school children, designed to build understanding, acceptance and tolerance. We show school students that people with a disability are the same as everyone else - they are 'just like you'.

Volunteers need to have excellent oral communication with good presentation skills, ideally some experience working with children and an interest in talking about disability to the community. We are actively seeking volunteers (able bodied and presenters with a disability) for the Sydney area particularly the South and South West and also the Orange region.
