Brief overview

VOLUNTEER PLAY HELPER

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with our facilitated peer support groups for people caring for children with a disability.

MyTime groups provide facilitated peer support for mums, dads, grandparents and anyone caring for children with a disability, developmental delay or chronic medical condition. This role will be assisting the co-ordinator by playing and interacting with children, and most importantly supporting the children to have fun. You must be physically able to move play equipment and lift small children.

Some previous experience engaging with people with a disability would be well regarded. Training and support will be provided. 

Additional Requirements

Working with Children Check. National Police Certificate. Class C Drivers Licence.
